About
At Perception Programs, Inc., the safety and wellness of our residents is of great importance. We are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy culture through the implementation of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) became federal law in 2013 and was created to eliminate sexual abuse in correctional facilitates. In our residential facilitates we are required to adhere to PREA regulation which act as a protection against sexual abuse or sexual harassment between residents, staff, volunteers, and contractors. . PPI has wholeheartedly embraced these protections. PPI has zero-tolerance philosophy and we embrace all protections outlined in regulation.. To this end, we welcome third-party and anonymous reports of sexual misconduct within our treatment facilities. Our PREA Coordinator accepts reports by phone at 860.450.7122, ext. 2012.
PPI strives to be transparent in the reporting and documenting of PREA related incidents.
In the calendar year 2014, PPI had no PREA incident reports.
